My faith was shaken because of falling into temptation for the past few months. I started to wonder if god still loves me and would take me back even after 11 years of salvation, or if I should just give up on salvation altogether compared to being a hypocrite. I thought I was in control until I lost it, the road was tough and fell. I have been battling and trying to find solace but everywhere I turned, god was the only true solution, his love is comfort and when we live in him that is where we find strength to get back up again. Nothing can separate us from the love of god, even the past that haunts us for a long while does not mean he hasn't forgiven us. So for me this song encourages me to make peace with god over the sin and not to give up or give in when the next trial comes. Thee road isn't easy but we've come too far for him to leave us. He doesn't want anyone to go to hell but to be with him eternally! :)

The song is the whole meaning of being a christain. To not give up when times get hard. To trust in your god. One time, back when the atkins' were little, one of the kids says "we're poor" and ms. Tina atkins, 5years old at the time says "we're not poor, we just don't have some things. " even at that time, at five years old, she trsuted god to bring them through. Look at them now. God can do the same for anyone. He's just waiting for you to ask. And not leave him when times get hard. This song is god asking you "do you trust me? "

This song reminds me of God plan and purpose for my life. Though it is for me to accomplish, my efforts are sometimes failing or worn because the purpose of my enemy (the devil) is that God's plan and purpose does not come to fulfillment in my life. As a result, persecutions are on so many sides, my temper is pushed to its limit, lack of basic necessities, challenges, pressure on the job to name a few are some of the mountains that hinders or vie for my attention on a daily basis. The questions are have I done the wrong thing? Is God even hearing me? Why so long? When others who are not on the same faith level seem to have a smooth life.
The song encourages me to hold on with a firmer grip and a while longer for God will come through and help me. Those who are having difficult circumstances do not give up on God He will certainly not give up on you.
