This song is pretty much telling you not to complain. It's always someone who isn't as blessed as you are, and that's why you don't take things for granted. God has not promised you everything that you expect to have, like life, waking up. So it's saying be grateful and appreciate any and every thing he does for you. You don't know a man until you walk in his shoes for a day.

I defiantly take heed to this song because in 2009 I lost my fiance to someone coming in my home were I was and shot and killed him with me there then in 2010 I was shot in my same home close range with a twelve gauge shot gun almost lost my life that was never promised to me God was so good to bring me thru and then having to move out a home I build of my own because I couldn't afford to pay my mortgage. I had no income to pay I had to fight 2yrs for my social security trying to provide for four children which was the hardest thing to do I could have been dead and gone but thank God I was blessed and I'm here as a living witness of if I don't do nothing I will be grateful of being a living walking miracle being grateful when others worse off than me have lost there life and would love to be in my shoes is worth it. Thank you Jesus.
