Alejandro Escovedo (born January 10, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas) is a Mexican-American musician and singer-songwriter. He will be performing at The Voodoo Experience held at City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana over Halloween weekend 2009. His parents emigrated to Texas from Mexico.
