Of course its freakin medieval theme the album is called "Where Myth Fades to Legend" pay attention! You all get it wrong! Its not bout freakin girl boy wnts revenge thts so stupid and almost everyone says tht for every song! Either they have a brain the size of an ant or they dnt listen to the freakin lyrics stephen you are so wrong! What does breakin up and wnting to kill his ex have anything to do with the song! I think the most accurate is steelmaine ^-^ thnk goodness at least one person listens to the song alesana is a fantastic band! Dnt ruin the songs by saying theyre bout break ups maybe ur listening to insinc or kelly clarkson but if ur saying tht s*t ur not listening to alesana.

I think its about a jealous witch, who kiddnaps this dude's chick (the scene is in mideval times) and then he rescues his chick, then the witch made a run for it, and this dude or knight is stalking the witch with revenge on his mind. "close your eyes and let your mind escape into a world of dreams" means that literally close your eyes cause this wont be pretty.

Yeah I have 6 t shirts both their albums and other merch
and they do want revenge but telling their enemy to close his/her eyes cuz it wont be a sight good in that case, so the pain willl be less on him.
But the pain gets the best of them and the enemy is kind of victorious, and the enemy is sady mistaken, so its a trick Alesana is Playing defeat, to trick them.

For one it's not gap it's cage! I should know I am Alesana biggest fan and I have both their cd's and one of their shirt so yeah.
The song is about him and a girl their trapped in this cage. Their enemy is holding them against their will in a cage. He is with the love of his life, and she's scared. So he's trying to keep her calm and break lose. Finally the get lose and are running far away so they can't catch them.
