I derive a religious meaning from this song. The best thing for her mother was giving birth to her, and loving somebody higher than anything else in this world. Perhaps a reference to a type of 'god' or higher spiritual being. The song also references spirituality when the lyrics state her mother crosses to the parallel world - a reference to either heaven or hell, or the purgatory in between, or another world altogether.

I believe this song is a fight between emotion and science. Though "Somebody higher than anything else in this world" could be a reference to some kind of divine being, I think it is a parents view that their children are more important than anyone else in the world. She sings the emotion between mother and child and the fear and pain of losing one another where as he sings of the science of living and dying. We are just atoms and though we die they continue to vibrate. He also attempts to reason out where the essence of one goes upon death where she cannot get past the emotional pain to reason any deeper or further meaning.

I hope everyone loves their mum and every mum deservesnto be loved by their darling child. I hope aqua also feels proud of himself for singing this very meaningful song go aqua and mum's everywhere in the world whether they are poor in africa or rich in the us mom's always love their dear children! If you are a mum congratulations! You are one of the most wonderful people on earth!
