I believe it's about a soldier that came home from a war. The soldier traveled the world over the oceans and the white hills, and the soldier has seen many gruesome things that drive him to near insanity. And now the soldier has come home, and now the soldier has post-traumatic-stress-disorder. So he thinks he's driving his family under, as he is constantly reminded and reliving the very terrible things he has seen. Over and over again in his head.

This song is abt someone who lives in the sea of insanity. Deeper he's drowning he'll lose his mind. He might be betrayed, cheated, bullied, lied and he's just with his self. Myself and me. Hes trying to save his self so that he holds his breath. It makes the insanity can't come to inside his body. But insanity is very strong. Destroys inside. Just wait till he's gonna saved or he'll die from lack of oxygen in the sea of insanity.
