Avenged Sevenfold – Shepherd Of Fire lyrics
Lets take a moment and break the ice
So my intentions are known
See, I pity in watching you suffer
I know the feeling of being damned alone
I have a storybook of my own
Don't you see

I am your pride, agent of wealth, bearer of needs
(and you know what's right)
I am your war, arming the strong, aiding the weak
Know me by name, shepherd of fire

Well I can promise you paradise
No need to serve on your knees
And
when you're lost in the darkest of hours
Take a moment and tell me who you see
Wont tell ya who not to be
Now you know

I am your pride, agent of wealth, bearer of needs
(and you know what's right)
I am your war, arming the strong, aiding the weak
Know me by name, shepherd of fire

Deciple of the cross and champion of the suffering
Emerse yourself in the kingdom of redemption
Pardon your mind through the chains of the divine
Make way for the shepherd of fire

Through the ages of time
I've been known for my hate
But I'm a dealer of sinful choices
For me it's never too late

I am your pride, agent of wealth, bearer of needs
(and you know what's right)
I am your war, arming the strong, aiding the weak
I am your wrath, I am your guilt, I am your lust
(And you know it's right)
I am your law, I am your stall, I am your trust
Know me by name, shepherd of fire

Would actually be the description of Satan, except for one thing that the song says, aiding the weak, according to the satanic bible Satan doesn't have a place for the weak, one live the strong and death to the weak, also hell is said to be the place of infinite pleasures, so it is a reference to hell, and the four prince of the crown of hell, but that is the only thing that came to being wrong about it.

The lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold said this about the song. Lead vocalist M. Shadows told Kerrang! magazine: "If you just listen to the music, it feels like you've been taken down to Hell. From the riffs, to the bells ringing, to the horns, to the drumbeat, it feels like you're being dragged down."

He added: "It's very like 'Sympathy For The Devil,' in that there's a silver-tongued Devil speaking to you. He's not all about fire and brimstone; he's luring you down and telling you he can make your life better than the guy up above. There's a temptation vibe to it, with pure chaos going on behind it."
So it doesn't relate to Call of Duty: Black Ops II zombies in anyway. Avenged merely allowed them to use the song in their trailer for the map pack and also as an Easter egg in the zombies map itself. The actual song that relates to the zombies theme on that map is Archangel by Kevin Sherwood.

Maybe treyarch just loves Avenged sevenfold just like I do! But I see some relations to origins, just like he promissed the paradise (angartha idk how you spell it) and shepherd of fire you have the fire staff ;) and he also sings through yhe ages of times, there are the medieval zombies wich also caused the zombie appocalypse; p so if you look carefully there are relatoins with the game ;)

This song is from "Call of Duty: Black Ops II": In the new zombie map "origins" you can unlock it. I did. But I think, that this song has nothing in common with the storyline of the "CoD zombiemode". I mean, look at "Not ready to die" from A7x: It's a "CoD zombies" easter egg too, and in the song are much relations to Group 935, the zombies, etc. Do you see any things I didn't?
