    Smile- in my words= its a deep song its not only for fun its like that in any curcumstance you just simle because its the only way to get through any kind of situation and avril has sung it so well that you are bound to hear it its fun it has emo touch a little style of rock and hip hop alltogather I think its a master piece!

    I think it means that she met some dude or whatever and they got together and she suddenly started to smile. I think it's basically like a love song because it sounds like she's talking about a guy that makes her smile. So it is mildly a love song. But still, I like it because it's not one of those mushy love songs nor is it a bad love song. It's a cool mix of love and pop. Which makes it enjoyable for me! : d

    I had this same situation. Lol weird but like this guy I really liked was everything that I wanted and he was always there for me. Sweet, kind, polite, protective, caring, understanding, sooo not playerisherrr ishh, gives chances (more than I deserved) and he was the reason why I smiled everyday :) we went out for 3 yrs:/ we just recently broke up. X sad face x he still likes me and I do too but hes in maryland now and even though we are far apart he makes me smile whenever I think about him and this song reminds me of him all the time so that's one of the many reasons why I love this song to death :)

    I never get bored with this song :) its just that awesome and I think that it's about how you see a guy and the second you do you two become attached to each other as said in the part like when she says "it took one look and now i'm not the same... ". And then like you feel like your life wasnt complete and you barely had that many reasons to smile and now tha tyou finally have him in your life you actually have a reason to smile and he is just like you. Your wild he's wild blah lolll. Well somthing like tht lml lol. This song always makes me smile allot and I neva get boredzzz: d I like practically memorized the whole song and everyday the song somehow ends up replaying over and over and over again in my head and never seems to stop. All I could say is that avril lavigne rocks my sox! Xd!

    Smile - is about a young girl who doesn't really know what she's doing and then she met a guy that made her happy and made her smile. That made her feel special. It had been a long time since she'd been happy because she was doing bad things and now she feels happy and beautiful. She is loving what the future holds and doesn't want anybody to cry because it's over but smile because it happened and the be happy because she is in love once again. Avril lavigne rocks!
