    This song really relates to me. I have some horrible dreams, and terrible thoughts. Most of which I willingly conjour up, and destroy my state of mind with. Its not like a mentally insane person, in fact I'm seen as very innocent, but I have some very. Creative thoughts. Some thoughts that no-one should hear. Therefore, I don't think this song is completely literal. You don't have to be asleep to have a horrible dream, a horrible nightmare. Or dare I say, daymare. :)
