In the novel persepolis by marjane strapi, marjane is a 10 year old girl who lives in iran and her country are making some terrible decision that are tearing the country apart. Marjane and her family are affect by the war that happen in her country and angers her. Marjane family and friend see that their country is falling. Marjane friend and family leave the country before the situation in iran became worse. Marjane live life with a excellent attitude towards her life, country and family.
Marjane is upset because all her close for and family are moving to the united states because it is safer than in iran. Majane was talking to her friend and he was saying how he is moving and marjane is upset decease she actually like him very much. When marjane uncle comes to visit he tell her story about when he was traveling. One day while marjane was being pick up from school. She realize that her uncle was suppose to pick her up. So she ask where her uncle and they told her that her went on a trip. Iran we some one tell you a family member is on a trip it means that there died. Marjane show concern because she really love her uncle.
Iran had take always the children's education so marjane is upset because she want to become chemist. She want to got to university and study chemistry. Her idol is marie curie. She was obsess with learning. One day while going to pick up her mother with her father they saw her mother running toward the car crying. They ask her what has happen she say some men where harassing her. After the incident it mad her mom sick for several days. Marjane ask her mother anything I can get you mom. Marjane show compassion because she though about how it would feel if she was in her mother place.
Marjane respect her country because every day for a funeral marches she would beat her breast. She would also nit hat for the soldier at war. In iran torture was a to show respect. They would slap them self beat them self with chains and even stab there self. Majane loves her country so much that she told her father to go out a join the soldier in war. Marjane has passion for her country because she would resist any thing for it. The people of iran would takes children and put the in the world they would tell them that they can have any thing that the wanted but many kid are just dying out there.
Live your life with love if you don't your life will fly by very quickly. When you do something thing think about what are doing. If you don't you look back on life and say I shouldn't do it. Is it better to laugh or cry. It is better to laugh than cry because laughing will help you release emotion and pain. When you cry you feel depress because your thinking about something sad. My last day of school my friend and I sat down and talk about the good day and though about what are we going to do in the future.
If marjane didn't live her life with love through all of the dreadfulness and hardness, her memories of what happened would go by quickly and have no meaning. Marjane love her family and country she show her loves by showing her interest in her country by politics and when every she is see one of her family she cares very much. For examples ''that was my last meeting with my beloved anoosh. ' marjane is passion for her country and caring for her family. Marjane live life with a excellent attitude because she live life to the fullest.
