    "The meaning of this song youngstunna is that there was once this girl named chelsea something and they beat her up so bad that her teeth fell out, her tung was all cut and she was bleeding everywere and her scared look like how the girl in the begging of the video is putting on her lip stick and if it ever happens again its called a chelsea smile"
    That isn't true, a "chelsea smile" is if you put a credit card or somthing sharp in another persons mouth and beat him. The card will cut his cheeks. The scars look like he would smile --> chelsea smile.

    Actually youre all wrong. In ap oli sykes (lead singer) says that he wrote that song about something that he did that was so bad that only his closest friends no. He says that its not illeagal but it would him and his whole bands' careers. He said at one point it was so bad that he was thinking about commiting suicide but he quickly got over that. He says it eats away at him and it kills him to have to live with it. O and twinkythekid just because he doesn't believe in god doesn't mean that he will not go to heaven or anyting like that because if you look away from a couple of bad things that he has done you see that he is a great person.

    ~oli does not believe in religion, is views are best described agnostic. He does not belive the christ version of god, nor is he satanic. He is trying to live life with meaning. I can assure this because I have a cousin whos pretty close to oli, and I have met him a couple times. Great guy he is. Amazing writer.

    Oli sykes sold his soul to the devil he's even said he looks happy but its killinghim on the inside and he's saying he wants forgivness in the new album there is a hell believe me I've seen it in don't go he says god forgive me for all my sins god forgive me for everything, and in it never ends he's saying that the horrible guilt of selling his soul to satan never ends and also in don't go he says we all have our horrors and our demons to fight but how can I win when I'm paralyzed they(demons or satan himslef) crawl up in my bed with their fingers to my throat is this what I get for the choice that I made(selling his soul) that's my thesis on the song feel free to use it on anything you like and share my idea! (ps if this gets famous my name is oliver).

    Why does everything have to come down to religion? Obviously, oliver is referring to a personal secret & how he doesn't trust anybody with it. (if I don't believe in him, how could he believe in me?)

    He's regretting whatever he did & it occupys his thoughts, hence him not sleeping at night. And the part where it says "i may look happy, but honestly dear the only way i'll really smile is if you cut me frome ear to ear. " shows his unhappiness & yes, a chelsea grin is cutting a victim's face from ear to ear to make it look as though they are smiling.
    How is this religious? I don't know. But honestly, society would be better without religion. It controls us. & it's only for those who are afraid of their mistakes and the unknown. It allows us to pretend that our mistakes are forgiven by an unseen person, but you have to forgive yourself. Humans as a whole are weak & they need something to believe in. I do not. Live your life god free & believe in yourself!

    The Meaning Of This Song Is he did Something He Regretted when he was in a party. And Only Him and A Few People In The Party Knew Hence all The Stuff About A Secret. And Chelsea Smile meand to tear a victims skin From The mouth up to the ears - that's why the girl is putting lip stick on up to her ear. So Mabey that's what he did -- but Oliver Sykes doesn't Seem Like That.

    The meaning of this song could be several ideas rolled into one. The first could be the obvious beating the world can give us, forcing us to smile when we're most down just because we want to be accepted, and the second could be the asking of God to rid the world of this social bind, and also the doubt from so many prayings that have gone unanswered. As for the secret part, it could be that his beliefs are already gone, that he doesn't believe anymore, or it could be something closer to him. We won't know unless we asked them ourselves.

    No no, you guys have no clue what a "chelsea smile" is. This is how it is defined. A torturing term used all around the world but originating in chelsea. The victim's hands are tied or held and the sides of there mouth are cut slightly breaking the strong lip structure. The victim is then kicked very hard in the nuts or in the case of a woman a leg is broken and as the victim screams the cuts rip creating the "chelsea smile."

    Sorry but I hate bads grammar and most of the senteces didn't make sense.
    I think the meaning to this song is obviously having something to do with people keeping secrets can ruin them and people around them, but I also think it has to do with praying for our forgivness of sinning for keeping huge secrets and screwing things up.

    I think the song is about oli knowing or having some sort of secret that he can't tell to somebody and the guilt and regret is eating away at him. In the part of the song were he says "so get on your knees and pray for forgivness" he is saying that him and anyone who has a secret like the one he is dealing with needs to ask god to forgive them for this terrible sin. That's my take on the song.

    The song don't go is about his guilt from his cousin I think who was one of the guys that slaughtered terry hurst with a scythe and then stomped on his face after he was dead. He is asking forgiveness for having the same blood as a vicious killer, or forgivness for his cousin killing the kid. You actually picture oli sitting around in a robe in the middle of a pentagram with a slaughtered goat, selling his soul. Cmon now.
