    I think the song was inspiring by the movie "The Shining". In the movie there is a bar called The Golden Room in the hotel and there are pictures on the wall of the bar back in its hay day and some of the people in the pictures died in the hotel. That's what I think this song could possibly be about. I could be wrong but the lyrics remind me of the move.
