We are not to hide the gospel in our own heart. We are to share it and bring others to the "light" of christ. When we stand before him one day, we don't want to say, "here is the gospel that was shared with me.. I kept it to myself. " no! We want to say, "thank you for the gospel. And I shared it with everyone I came in contact with! Run to the darkness! Amen?

When ever I hear this song I always make sure if there was noise I ensure its quiet. It lights up may darkest moments and gives me hope for the better. It makes me want more of the Lord as well as do his work. No matter how sad I may be I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Gives me the desire to be in Christ more.

When I hear this song I remember when I first heard it. My ladies group has a beautiful dance we do to it. I was nine months pregnant when I learned the dance and that was as close to god as I have ever come.
I also think of my wonderful aunt who has fought breast cancer and is now fighting leukemia not very successfully. She told us last night she is okay and that she knows she will be in heaven when she dies. My aunt una is the most godly person I have ever had the grace to know.
I know that when she does die, and she will tell you she is ready, that she will be looking down on us all and guiding in the right direction and hopefully we can all gather strenght from the fact that she is in heaven and knows god. I don't feel grief for her but for those of us left behind.

every consecrated soul has light reflected from jesus and every soul is called by god to let their light shine upon others who are in the darkness of sin lost and astrayed. "neither do men light a candle, & put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick: and it gives light unto all that are in the house. " "your world" in the song signifies the range of a soul's influence.
