Dawn Foss – Incomparably Unique lyrics

Long ago a man was conceived without a human father,
Lived in poverty in a remote, average place;
His family did not enjoy fame or formal education,
Just humble, hard work filled their long, hard days.
This child startled a king, puzzled theologians,
Defied the laws of nature with his words.
He freely healed the sick without a single medication,
Not an author but His life filled many books.
Jesus, this Christmas we adore you,
May this worship continue in our hearts.
He who will be wise, let him seek,
And discover Jesus is incomparably…unique.
Didn’t write a song but many sung great songs about Him;
Not a college founder but had a wealth of loyal students.
Not a soldier or a violent man yet peace on earth came forth,
He has healed more hearts than any psychologist.
He’s fulfilled hundreds of prophecies, through Him all things were made;
Angels announced His birth, yet He lived before.
No one else can claim equality with God without blaspheming,
He’s the only One who’s sinless to the core.
Jesus, this Christmas we adore you,
May this worship continue in our hearts.
He who will be wise, let him seek,
And discover Jesus is incomparably…unique.
Only He died in our place as just and Justifier,
And is the only Man who will judge all men.
Only He will return to earth in power and glory,
Without Jesus Christ there is no salvation.
Destined to be the world’s king, every knee shall bow before Him
Every tongue shall confess He is Lord!
The saints will worship Him for all eternity,
As they kneel before His throne in one accord.
He’s still worshipped after all these years, when others have been forgotten.
This Jesus is forevermore the same.
Kings of kings, Lord of lords, not even death could hold Him down!
His name lives on, the Name above all names!
Jesus, this Christmas we adore you,
May this worship continue in our hearts.
He who will be wise, let him seek,
And discover Jesus is incomparably…unique.
