The time when the heavens seemed shut, when I was really going though lots of pain, no job, no money, in a foreign country, awaiting a life threatening surgical operation; This song raised my hope and trust in the Lord. Everything seemed to be fading away even life itself. My trust in God was renewed and I have new strength. I am today thankful so a successful operation, new job a brand new fellowship with God. To God be the Glory.

My friend died and wanted this song sung at her memorial. She was a faithful child of god, a good wife and friend to many. When you saw her she always had a smile ever when she was hurting. Our last conversation was as follows: how are you doing? She said fine. Is there anything I can do for you she said just pray for me I am trusting god. She died believeing and trusting god that he would heal her and he did. Not on this side but on the other side.
