Ed Sheeran – Photograph lyrics
Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes
But it's the only thing that I know
When it
gets hard, you know it can get hard sometimes
It is the only thing that makes us feel alive

We keep
this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Our hearts are never broken
And time's forever frozen, still

So you can
keep me
Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me close until our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home

Loving can heal, loving
can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know, know
I swear it will get easier
, remember that with every piece of ya
And it's the only thing we take with us when we die

We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Our hearts were never broken
And time's forever frozen, still

So you can keep me
Inside the
pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me close until our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
And if you hurt me
That's okay baby
, only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
Wait for me to come home
Wait for
me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home

You can fit me
Inside the necklace you
got when you were sixteen
Next to your heartbeat where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul
And if you hurt me
Well that's okay baby
, only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go

When I'm
away, I will remember how you kissed me
Under the lamppost back on Sixth street
Hearing you whisper through the phone
Wait for me to come home

Well I think this song is just about love. If you love someone wherever they are you would still have that love, you should cherish the memories you have with the person. When your with that special person you will be okay and "time will be forever frozen still". This song is just simply wonderful.

This song just makes me think of anytime a loved one is away. For example, parents who have gone away, it tears both them and the child apart, but looking at a photograph keeps them somewhat together, like having a little piece of them with you that you can take wherever you go. Not just for comfort, but also as a reminder, or a promise. So you can remember their face, or just so you can wait for them to come home. The picture is a reminder of something that has already been and/or a promise for a future to come. There are some parts that pretty much turn it towards a significant other, but truly, if you take those out, or just look over them, it can really be applied to anyone you love and miss, who isn't near you at the moment. The picture is also hope, that soon, you won't just have a picture, but you will be back with the one of whom the picture is. No matter how far away they are, you just wait. "Wait for me to come home."

This song has been perfect for me and the situation I am in.

Been in a relationship for a year and a half with a man in the UK and I live in Chicago. He visited me this year and it went fairly well (did have a few hiccups as is natural in most relationships). When he left, we hugged and had a tender moment at the airport and kissed several times - I'll never forget this moment. It was hard to see him go. We called and texted afterwards and he said that he was going to come back to Chicago soon and that he really wanted to be here and spend more time with me. Two months later, he texted me that he had met someone in the UK and that it looked like it may well go somewhere. It was one of the hardest things to go through break-up wise since I loved him.

But, we have a picture that we took together when he first arrived in Chicago and I hold that close to me - it's a picture that showed us together before the pieces fell apart. It was such a magical moment. I still hope that he comes back to visit me in Chicago sometime and that this current relationship he is in will just be a fleeting thing. But, I'm not naive and will continue to heal and move forward in the meantime - because love will heal and mend my heart.

Thank you Ed Sheeran for writing a song that has been 100% true to my situation. I hope that he will "come home" one day but will forever hold him in my heart with this picture until then.

You know what this song reminds me of?
    Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Isabella Melling.
When I hear this song, I just imagine them smiling, slow-dancing, talking, and laughing to the song.
And at the end of the song, I imagine that they share a small kiss.
Its adorable, they're adorable, you think?

I'm guessing this is a long-distance kind of relationship song about missing and longing for the person you love. It talks about how love is the most beautiful thing and also the hardest, especially if your other half is miles away from you. Its like Ed sings about how they feel can feel okay with photograph of their memories together. Its a beautiful song.

This song is really good for breakups, because I was dating this guy and then he broke up with me, but i started listening to this song because i didn't think I could love anyone more than I loved him, but it turns out that my heart has been mended. Now I am going out with this guy who is really nice, and hopefully if it goes well he won't break my hearty. Since i have started going out with him I noticed that I actually love him more than I loved my EX.

This song means one thing only that having photographs with someone you love makes both your memories non fading it simply says that he loves photographs because no matter the person in it changes the photograph never change its meaning and the person in it. It's like after we fight and if ever we both got hurt I'll be the keeper of our memories. When he says this:

    "You can fit me.
Inside the necklace you got when you were sixteen.
Next to your heartbeat where I should be.
Keep it deep within your soul."

It means that his photo will fit in her necklace placed near her heartbeat where lives and where he would love to stay forever and she should keep that simple reminder forever.

After listening to this song I wanna say that I love this man even if he doesn't know that I do I love you ricky forever:

This is everything about love. How it can hurt. How much it can destroy you. How much it can actually affect you, it's like a reminder but it's also about how love can mend you. How it can fix the broken heart, and how it can heal you. Maybe because the reason of our hurting can also be a solution to be complete again. Well just sometimes.

To think of my baby we often tell our children to keep a photograph of us (him and mom) in their pockets or somewhere they can pull out when they are "missing mommy" there is alway, something to remind them in separate home They are always stilled love and remind they were in the photo. It hard on them to think about the other parents being not... still around.

I lost my husband of 40 years to cancer, he was the love of my life. He was so fun, full of life we had the most amazing life, he was a Vietnam vet, we had 3 beautiful children, who married and gave us 7 amazing grandchildren. He started his own business and was very successful, he provided work for many people, he was a generous, giving man. I miss him everyday, he was only 62, and now all I have is photographs.

I think this song is about a long distance relationship and the guy is reassuring the girl and telling ehr he loves her with all his heart. This song is just very beautiful and meaningful and it always makes me cry because a love and a bond like that is so strong. It can keep people going just by looking at a photograph. That's deep and meaningful. It's not just any picture, to some people the picture can mean everything andf I'm amazed by how much power that can give a person and make them feel better. My ex just dumped me a week after his bday and this happened 10 months ago and we went out for 8 abd I'm still, surprisingly, into him. I'm still pretty young and I don't know if it's just a really big crush or it's really true that I love this guy. So whenever I look at our old picture and I listen to this song it always makes me cry reminding me of him adn wishing he would've stayed. This song makes me cry because it reminds me of how I can't have a love as strong as the one in this song. That's how powerful this song is. I hope you guys like it too.

"Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes
But it's the only thing that I know"

This means that yeah, a relationship can eb tough and hard sometimes but it seems to be the thing that he knows best. The guy knows about love adn that he's been hurt before but love is his best quality, he knows how to give and take love from others.

"We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
    Our hearts are never broken
    And time's forever frozen, still"

Omg I love this part. It shows how even though no matter how far the couple was away from each other they each still had their memories, or maybe it means that even though they aren't together anymore, the guy is still happy that the girl still has their memories together. He's trying to say that the picture is their love frozen still. In the picture they are happily in love and laughing and smiling and never blinking, so it shows how they can freeze a moment in time and just keeo it with them forveer to honld onto and look back at.

    "So you can keep me
Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me close until our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home"

This means that in the picture of the couple together, when the guy is gone, the girl can always have him with her because she has that picture of the both of them that keeps them together and has the best memories thay've ever had. When she has the picture, it's like she has him with her, whether it's in her locket by her heart, or in the pocket of her jeans. He'll always be there with her.

"Loving can heal, loving can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know, know
I swear it will get easier, remember that with every piece of ya
And it's the only thing we take with us when we die"

I think here he's sayign that when your soul feels empty or shattered or broken, you can always find that love makes you feel whoe againa dn that your soul will feel complete again. He's saying that you'll need your soul and love after you die so it can take you up to heaven.

"When I'm away, I will remember how you kissed me
Under the lamppost back on Sixth street
Hearing you whisper through the phone
Wait for me to come home"

In the end when he says this, I just think about how he's trying to tell the girl about what he'll think of while he's gone. He's probably gonna be thinking about her most of the time, but he; s also going to be remembering that magical moment they had when they kissed under the lampost back on sixth street. That is just really beautiful and sweet.

I love this song desipite the fact that I break down in tears everytime. I just left the people I knew my whole life and remember all the people and my years there. I really remember this song when I look at old poloroid pictures and together they are my weakness.

This song is a very good song. I have a separation anxiety and whenever I go to one place leaving my comfort zone, it always makes me cry. Even if someone close to me is leaving, I also can't help my self but to always cry. It's really hard for me to move on specially when I'm super attached to people and places. It also applies whenever I'm falling in love to someone. It's hard for me to move on after knowing that we cannot be together at all. I just look at the photos that I have from those people and pictures that I took from those places that I've been. It reminds me that at least, somehow at some point, I can say that I felt happiness even if those people left me and even if I have to leave that place. It's a reminder that a piece of what happen before is still in me and I still be able to keep those memories through a photograph. I've always wanted to be a photographer to capture those moments so that people can always have something to look back. Something to remind people that once in their life there's always one thing that they can keep which can never be replaced.

My last month check was for $11000 dollars... Everything I did was basic online work from comfort at home for 3-4 hours/day that I got from this office I found over the web and they paid me for it 95 bucks each hour... Attempt it yourself....
    smile AND GOOD LUCK. Smile

This song is god awful. Ed Sheeran's singing makes my blood boil to the point it is molten lava and makes me want to fucking scream. Black metal is goddamn better than this shit! It's like dog crap on your mother's lawn stepped on, thrown into a barbecue grill that later on short circuited, flung yards away like a football, flamethrowed on, cooked in a pan, before later being put back in said lawn and being shat on again.
