She's famous, maybe a model or an actress. She doesn't want to be that person anymore. She doesn't want to be a victim of society's standards, she wants to be more than just a pretty face. She feels like it's all a lie, like it isn't the real her, and she just wants to be able to be who she really is for once.

I can totally relate to this song! I listen to it a lot and it reminds me of me how I let everyone change me and infulence me into doing things I don't wanna do but I do anyway. I know its bad but sooner or later I'm gonna have to step up and take control of my life. Amy Lee has such a great voice and she is like my role model because I feel like she went through the things I am currently going through right now in my life.

This song goes good for the models
they think that perfect is what matters and in the end that is not worth nothing plus I want to dedicate this song to my ex boyfriends cuz hhe got everybody folled pretty much I'm not saying names cuz his my bf and his a big liar he only cares about materials and that's it and that's sad so yeah this song to my bf!

I believe shes angry because most people in the music business consider it as selling their soul. I believe she was tricked somehow and shes angry about it but saddened by regret & she feels betrayed by it. Its seems she beats herself up for it. I think theirs more than meets the eye behind this honestly. I haven't quite figured it all out but now it seems its starting to become clear.
