This is a short but sweet story of a friend who you see everyday, but you really don't. Like loneliness or hunger, because you are not that person, you just don't know what is inside their mind or soul. You are a silent observer, and you watch from a distant. Then one day while observing this friend, it hits you, why this person is invisible while he does his good deeds go unnoticed. This person has a secret, it is not the second hand clothes he wears from a thrift store.

This song, for me, cannot be described using words. Which may be a little confusing considering it's a song with words. Lol! I don't know. I love this song and it makes me cry every time I listen and sing it. If I were to try and describe what it means to me, I'd be here all day! The meaning is different to everyone that listens to it and feels it relating to their lives.

My husband has just sent the link to this song to me, to remind me that he loves me. Somewhere we have forgotten the feelings those words bring, we have been so busy with life bringing up our family and now we have grandchildren and at the stage in our lives where we are hoping for our last big adventure. Hearing this song again brought back all my memories of the love we have shared over the years and brought me back to our younger days and memories I had forgotten. This song has reminded me what we have shared and how it's time to start again, put each other first, live and love. Everyone has to get old, but when you are young you think you have all the time in the world, but the clock turns fast. This song reminds me that love has no age limit and the songbird is still singing for us.
