This song, was released during my 7th year with my husband. We were pregnant with our second child. This describes the way I thought we both felt for one another. We played this song daily in our home.

When I went to the hospital to deliver my baby girl, he never came to see me. During the week I was away having my baby, watching other proud father's come to feed their new child. I was alone with my child. I came to learn the words that meant so much to my love for him, we're not for me, but his affair he had during my pregnancy. Today, when I listen to this song, it takes me back to those moments I felt so loved -but wasn't. After three decades I finally found the kind of love that will last "through the years" and thank God for the lesson. It was hard to face at 26 years of age, but now. When everything goes wrong. Together my husband and I are string and united.

Today is my husband's and my 60th wedding anniversary. This song touches it all. The years we shared the 6 children we raised the many times his Marine Corp career of 20 active duty years separated us. I am so glad for the song and all it says to me. Thank you Kenny for recording it and to the ones who wrote.

The song is one of the song that makes me cry whenever I hear it. This reminds me everything about my friend, my godmother, my confidante and my other mother for seventeen years of my life. I could never forget mother loisa. You taught me everything in life. Now that you are in heaven with the creator. I always wish that you always guide me to go about life. I love you and am missing you.

Through the years is a song that has true meaning. When things really get tough just put this song on and really listen to the words. It's not just about friends or lovers. It's about family and the love of family. My daughter is getting married on sunday, oct. 16th. We will be dancing our mother-daughter dance to it. When you lose the most important person in the world to you, as I did in 2006. I lost my husband to cancer. It's nice to know that you have one person that you can turn to and rely on. That is my daughter june.

I came across this song in my 3rd year of marriage. I and wife just came out different relationships when we met and with a child each from those relationships. Our courting was challenging because there is always the other woman and the man. We however went through those trying times together, when it seemed even to us that the relationship was heading for the rocks. Even now when we go through our challenges we still find ways to stay together because even though we may try to deny it deep down we know we were made for each other and our previous relationships were mistakes. I and my wife dance to this music from time to time. I will be doing a karaoke of this song for my darling wife come April 04. It is my wife's birthday. Thank you Kenny Rogers for recording this song.

Through the years, for me means alot. It is about what we have learned for the entire year which we could treasure for the rest of our lives. Through the years being with someone means going strong each day through not only love but trust and understanding each other. We may encounter different people in different situation yet the memories we've made will last forever. I dedicate this song to someone whom made me special and really love me as I am.
