    What I think Mr. Murphey is trying to say is love and marriage are a complete commitment. Often people go into marriage with the attitude “ oh well, if it don’t work I can get a divorce. Instead of the attitude that is supposed to be forever. Obviously there are certain situations where divorce would be the prudent decision. But a lot of times people get divorced for trivial reasons instead of working it out. So Mr. Murphey ask if love isn’t supposed to last forever then what is the purpose of forever?
