It is for the people who have lost a loved one. The people who wishes to have 'one moment more' with that person. Wishing that person would not leave us and would stay. Mindy Smith actually wrote it for her mom who died from cancer. Now, every time I sing this song, I think of all the people I miss and are gone whom I wish to have another chance to have one moment more with. I've also lost a classmate when she died from bone cancer at age 13, but I know she's in a better place where she can rest in peace. God bless to all who are in heaven now. We know you are looking down on us, so we will make you proud as much as we can while we are still here on earth. God made plans for all of us- everything happens for a reason. We will see you again someday. We will meet again where everything is glorious and perfect. This song is dedicated for all of you up there. We still love you and care for you. We will work to our best in everything we do make you proud-- we will meet again.

Actually she wrote it for her mom who passed away of cancer. Its really a lovely song about the passing of a loved one and how you hope to see them again in the life after death, and how you will miss them everyday of your life and you wish to hold on to the things that you may have once taken for granted. That you just want "one moment more" with them.
