Its practically about people pushing others around and never doing anything to actually help. The lyrics are like an attack to this people, those who lie, steal and cheat! Chris motionless is singing about how he wont back down and he will never let them in his kingdom (hense the music video). The chorus state if they are telling the truth then fair enough, but doesn't believe them anyway. Because people are different, doesn't mean they should be persercuted! Its an awesome song anyway!

Chris has said it before, this song has many meanings, in which people find different purposes to the song. One meaning is the fact that most of these lyrics are directed to his haters and ours (the fans) it also has to do with the non religious beliefs of the band members and how in the religious people's eyes, we are satanic and sh*t. When it's not the case at all. Chris and the band only want to help people, and that they've done, they feel our pain and want help us get over it, and express ourselves.
There is another meaning however one Chris has talked about. Chris has seen bands "come and.go" a bunch that he knew were "in it for all the wrong fucking reasons" (e.g. money, fame, a sense of power) "you stand for nothing and your heart is untrue" talks about how many bands stand for something, like them, to help us and inspire us, unlike the bands he's seen, MIW do care about their bands and are heartfelt with them, while those he's seen are just a bag of dicks. These two meanings Chris has actually talked about. I do have more, but this should be enough for now. :).

It's so twisted but awesome. "worthless god" to me means it's worthless if you are in it for the wrong reasons as they stated. "feeding everyone lies" isn't necessarily feeding lies about god, but feeding lies about yourself in reference to god. They are basically saying that a lot of modern day christians are like the pharisees way back when who judged and claimed to be holier than everyone else. Favorite line= the last one. Protecting the kingdom from fake christians.

The main idea and main concern of mine was to basically parallel the 2 time periods of our band and all the open minded people in the world's present day life and the time period of jesus' life and show how similar they are. I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy and hold a mirror up to all the self righteous, holier-than-thou people and show them how full of s*t they are. We have our own beliefs and we aren't afraid to speak out about them, we are not satanists, we have a positive message towards finding self-worth and inner peace, we don't discriminate against anyone regardless of the way they look, their faith, sexuality, or race, and believe it or not, I have a tremendous amount of respect for jesus christ. Yet despite all these very moral and positive vibes, we are still constantly ripped apart for being who we are. Sounds really similar to what happened to the man the people that criticize us put all their faith in. The difference between myself and jesus is that he was trying to convince people to believe in him and a higher power (god) to find salvation. Whereas *i'm* trying to convince people to believe in themselves. God does not control your life, you do.
My band and myself are 100% completely aware that not all christians or followers of any religion are close minded and do the things they do in this video. I've met so many awesome people in my travels that are christians etc. And regardless of whether they like motionless in white or not, they still know how to keep an open mind and be respectful. I don't want anyone watching this video to feel like they should be angry towards every person of any faith, or that we are attacking their faith directly. The song is very plainly written about the people who abuse gods name by using it to profit or cause harm to others emotionally or physically, but it's even more importantly written as a call to arms to any person in this world to come stand together to fight the ignorance that halts the progression of mankind. Hate me for that, I f*****g dare you.

It's about the irony in christianity. I'm catholic and all but totally understand. It's pretty much like how people who are different are pretty much condemned to hell by those religion extremists but what they don't seem to realise is that they are pretty treating these people like jesus was treated back in the day. Think about it. A bunch of people wanting these sort of people to be like them, the jews wanting jesus to be like them. Oh the irony.
