Haha and my classmatesalways talk about twilight and I enjoyed listening and even if I din't see the movie I just try to think what happend.     Okay, at first I thought it was Bellas point of view about Jacob in Eclipse, whenever he kisses her: "Keep pushing and pulling me down,.
    But I know in my heart it's not you. "But then someone said it was in Edwards point of view in Midnight Sun, well I agree with that wayy more.
    Regardless of whos point of view this song is it remimds me more of my life, it fits more perfect with my life right now than Edwards point of view.

    Am I the only one who doesn't think it's about Twilight? I know it was in Twilight, but it wasn't made for it. I can understand how you might think that, but still. I believe about fighting the temptations of Satan.

    This song is told from edwards P. O. V, where as decode is told from bella's, edward is fighting the urge he has for bella, and that he wants to tell her his secret but he can't, and her scent is hypnotic and leaves him breathless its perfect for the movie as is decode. Where bella is determined to figure out what edward is, and finally in the end she figures it out. That's my opinion.

    The song is writen like it's from Edward people. Think about it, Edward has always tried to stop from falling for Bella. She is his forbidden item. He is drawn to her and can't stop himself. In the books and even the unreleased but leaked book of Edwards perspective for Twilight this song fits. Just because a woman sings it doesn't mean it's about the girl perspective. In the dvd the lead singer even stated that these two songs on the soundtrack she wrote for Twilight the book.

    This song is really about edward's point of view, you see, "you're leaving me breathless" that's when edward need not to breath when he's with bella or else he can smell bella's scent and otherwise, he might kill her. Andd, from my reading all the twilight books, it didn't say that bella doesn't like edward, she really likes edward. Edward does not know if he wants bella's body or bella herself, so the song is really from edward's point of view and not bella's.

    I actually have to disagree with claire3000 I do think these are Bella's feelings. Because she always admits things to him, he's got some sort of magic? (he dazzles her) Your leaving me breathless? (Many times in the series she explains how she can't breath after kissing him) Your pushing me and pulling me down to you? (That's her attraction to him) Either way it makes sense. I personally just believe it's from Bella's point of view, because in the book Twilight, there was no makeout scene.

    I 100% agree with Claire3000 again I mean this song is about edward. He can't help himself if he loves Bella no matter how hrad he try's to stay away from Bella! I mean read New Moon definitlyit talks about a lot of stuff about edward leaving Bella and how it was for him. Like in the bedroom seen in twilight the movie (which was totally not in the book!) when they almost did it he couln't help himself because he wanted her so, so, so, badly. Once thet started to role around on the bed he had to catch himself and had to stop himself before he could hurt her because he thirsted for her blood too! Jeese people how hard is that to understand!

    Yes I do know what t means. She wrote it because Edward is always like "no afterlife for vampires blah blah blah death blah blah blah hell" but when he comes to talk about Bella he always says something refering to God when she talks about changing.

    So sorry for being mean, I just pisses me off when people just make their own meanings when there not true in the least bit. And also when some stupid people say that this song and Decode were made before Twilight. Sha, whatever, stupid.

    Nooo! Oh my f*****g god! Seriously people!? This song is for edward! Oh my gawd! "When I caught myself I had to stop myself"? Really? You can't figure out that it's from Edwards point of view? Lordy. "Your pushing and pulling me down to you", that's when Bella is constantly telling Edward to come over to her (inviting him to La Push), always making him come closer when all he wanted to do was leave her. For her safety.

    I really like the song tiwilight on the other hand I like the book not to crazy about the movie I was one of the first people in pennslvania to read the series and idk but in this song their is a lot of hidden things and we she says as god as my witness I think she is like possible referiing to like holyness and I god probably would agree with someone walking the world with eternal life so I think when she say as good as my witness it has a lot to do with that.

    If you read the other books in the saga you would know that jacob is in them alot. This song is defidently in edwards pont ov view. Hes absualty in love wit bella. Hes trys to run frum it but he can't. He knows hes not sposed to need bella as much as he does but he can't stay away. He trys to avoid her but its to painful to live wit out her. In the second book, afta the whole thing wit that other vampire, he tells bella he wouldnt be able to live witout her. He trys to kill him self wen he thinks she dead. The song is saying the same thing. "i dont know wat i want, but i know its not you." edward doesn't want bella he needs her.

    I listened to Paramore back when Emergency and Pressure came out. Way before Twilight came out. I think they have changed a lot. Not in a bad way at all, but they have grown and matured a lot. Just because Twilight gave them some exposure dosnt mean that they are a new and upcoming band. They have been around for a while now. But no matter what I adore this song and anything else by them. Keep up the good work guys, your amazing!

    This song is so kewl and so is paramore and the song does suite edward's character. And a little bit of Bella's character in the book. The movie and the book is alot differant than you think. But I like the book better. Alot better than the movie though the movie was fine. Nice song paramore you rock keep it up there are alot of people who like not only this song but you and other songs that you made. Rock out.

    1st of all the movie sucks. It does and you know it. The books however rock. I agree kelseybabyyy. The movie did absolutly no justice! Now 4 all of you who only saw the movie go do yourself a favor and get the books. Mercy! (btw I hate bella in the movie 2) but besides the point this could be about edward bella or jacob, in the end the all have to control their emotions. Bella remembering jacob is a friend. Edward running from bella (the idiot) and jacob remembering bella is for edward and love reneseme in the end. Oh yeah you are all entitled 2 ur own opinion but yours is wrong. Unless you have read the books. If your just a movie goer. Disappear no1 cares what you think.

    @roguernot your right hayley said it herself the song wasn't supposed to be for the movie, she said she didn't like/want wasting time writing a song about a movie that wouldn't mean anything to her, but since they made those 2 songs (this one and decode) and they fit the storyline well, they used it for the movie, so basically the songs aren't for the movie, the movie is for the songs. :) just wanted to let people know. ^.^

    I agree with roguernot that I really don't think the song is about Twilight. The song does fit the storyline of it, but I think it's just a general song about fighting attractions to something that you shouldn't want. For example, I think of maybe a popular girl, who cares about her reputation, growing a crush on geeky nerd, or maybe a married person showing interest in someone other than their spouse. Also, roguernot's belief on how it's about temptations of Satan is so very perceptive and I never thought of it like that when I listened, until it was mentioned :)

    This song reminds me of the scene where edward jumps out of his room with bella on his back. It gives me chills! It's so wonderful that paramore are doing songs for the twilight saga. They're my two most favorite things in the world! I loved paramore ever since their first album but twilight has expanded their fanbase I guess. It was huge already though! I read twilight before most people. Before the movie and stuff. Its an amazing book. I've read the saga so many times! Anyways, this song is perfect.

    Personaly I don't like twilight. Don't kill me. I haven't seen it or read it all I know is that it aint my thing. Lol.
    But I thank twilight because without it I would no have an obssesed aunty to tell how much she loves it. And to introduce me to Paramore. I lvoe paramore. There is no better band I used to be jonas obssesed and now a am paramore obsessed I have all their Cd's even their live one and I even got the twilight track cuz of them what do you call that? Obbsession. Yeah I love crush and my heart and emergency and fences and decode and for a pessimist I'm pretty optimistic yeah that's only to name a few lol ok bye.

    I disagree with kkb123. Decode is definately from Bella's point of view, and how she can't figure him out, but she is trying to, or something to that effect. This song could be about Bella as well; the relations between her and Jacob, and how she knows that even though she is good friends and feels something with him, she knows she should be with Edward. However, it could be about Edward and how he's trying to deal with loving Bella and staying away from her at the same time. That I agree with jgizzle and twilightobsessioner on. Overall both songs are fantastic and phenomenal, depicting the movie/book so well, with so much meaning.

    Lol I just think since you kno he's a vampire and all and he's not suppose to like her or love her for that matter and you kno the part when he was out of skool for that long period of time and later in the book he was all like he went to alaska or W. E cuz he was gunna kill her nd everybody [read the online version of his side of twilight I think its called 'midniight moon'? I haven't read it yet] but I think he keeps gettin addicted to her which is why he I think this is for him? If this makes any sense. Made sense n my head.

    I think its abit about jaconb and edward I cnt decide really. Like I guess it seems mostly about jacob you kno how he's forcing her onto him like forcing her 2 love him. And I agree totally with sh_girl but that goes with new moon. If it goes with twilight then its about edward. Edward cnt help it he's like a magnet he's trying to push her away but they are falling in love. And being pulled together. Remember in the book she says and thinks things she knows she shuldnt of. Nahhh basically I dnt know why its these lyrics 4 twilight if they have even read the series they would have saved this song 4 new moon. How does she not know what she wants in twilight.     I think it has something to do with her decision to become a vampire. Some of the song fits with that "Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself,.
