    Its a song of strength, and continuation against the pain of a relationship disappointment. (first off one of the lyics is wrong. Its I "can handle that once more" not "i can't" co'mon he's had his money's worth of pain on this earth, he had his share of ups and downs and all arounds. Now. So he's saying its fine, i'll get through it again, though I tried to change your way of thinking etc. Nothing worked. Time to pay my dues!
