I heard this song recently on KOCI SoCal stn. I thought was The Animals, but see is QSMS. I immediately thought of Stavros Mitropoulos check out in Exodus 15, also song has prophecy in Revelation of Babylon fallen, and the merchants of the earth lose all in one hour! All gold, silver, spices, etc. Even says the souls of men, akin to corporations getting rich off the toil and ideas of their employees, the governments deciding with selection who is worthy to live, weeding out the weak, elderly, infirm, wounded vets and those with PTSD, as is being done now in U.S. with socialist healthcare, and veteran administration. This song pegs perfectly: God's #1 pet peeve, pride, is what Satan fell for (see Isaiah 14), pride goes before destruction, and a haughty(arrogant) spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18) (see also Proverbs 6:17-19, the proud look is #1, even precedes shed innocent blood!)

This song was written a long time ago and I was never sure what it meant. It seems like prophecy. I listened to it. Repeatedly trying to discern its meaning. I believe what above commenters said is close to correct. We must prepare. The tipping point is near. History repeats itself so was Hiroshima a test run? So survivalists are smart? Will it be postponed if we turn to Him. Hope the elections go to a Godly man. Since I am elderly it truly scares me, because I want to live forever! God assigned me some tasks on this earth however I am so far behind I will live forever! Calvin and Hobbs? What about Agenda 21? Biederburk? (sp.) New World order? How do they fit into this? Native Americans believe their people came out of the earth. We need to go into the earth for survival so we can be reborn again. The evil prideful rich ones have access to gvt. Shelters now!

Revelation" new heaven, earth, new Jerusalem etc." Daniel 2, after kingdoms of the world system destroyed, the feet and toes of iron and clay(remaining nations of the Roman Empire, as U.S. E.U. Latin countries, one world community government with antichrist at the helm flanked by the beast (2 in Rev.13) and false prophet, when the four horses are bridled run neck and neck(red, communism, black, capitalism, white, catholism, pale, Islam, End Times Irwin Baxter) broken by The Rock (Jeshua, not Dwayne) then Kingdom without end!(see Daniel 2:44-45).

Note: Re blue shaded line "flash of fire 10x brighter than the day." in 2Peter 3:10-12 describes what many believe is nuclear holocaust, note: Elements in verse has been found out to be nuclear properties, also "melt with a fervent heat" we saw Hiroshima, at least pictures. Note: "Wormwood" in Revelation 8:11, in Ukraine means Chernobyl, recent fires in 2015 (RT news) are "reheating" the radiation, cause to rise into atmosphere and rain/evaporation cycle spreading throughout the organism of the earth, making a third of waters bitter (meribah).
