This song refers to Sylvie's contemptible attempts to seduce her older sister's boyfriend, and a very serious, genuine warning given to Sylvie.

"Give it all up, for we see you crying."
This refers to the outcome of not heeding said warning.

If two kind people (or indeed just one) encourage you in the strongest possible terms to desist from behaviour that you should feel guilty about, heed that warning. It is sometimes difficult to see, to believe that kind people can also be nasty, can 'shut you down' but they really, really can.
