The Shades Of Blue was a blue-eyed soul vocal group from Livonia, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Their biggest hit was their 1966 song "Oh How Happy", written by Edwin Starr, which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, #7 of the R&B charts and made the Top 10 in Canada.
