This song is very powerful for me. I started to listen to Shinedown and similar bands right before I was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. This song immediately spoke to me, even before I knew, the quirky opening, the insistent rhythm throughout, the confident devil-may-care lyrics. I might not measure up to some people's standards, but I'more than okay for me. I don't care about the box you're trying to cram me into.

My opinion is that this guy lives in different way than society people. Probably like a born to be wild but a easier-off and he likes it as I does what he wants and he's happy, crossing the lines it's a proper meaning. He goes beyond what society impones. Not necessarily breaking the low. Just doing what he wants to do without feeling the pression of living in the "normal"way and trying something different, taking risks and not caring for consequences but just living the moment. I really fits in this song. Shinedown are gettin better and better.
