I think that this song is so powerful that its scary. To me, its a song between a man and Jesus. The stanzas are the words of the man who is talking to Jesus. Asking him how he feels that he is a sinner and a monster. And Jesus replies, "I will teach you" and "I will love you". It's a cry out to all humans who feel that they always fall short of the glory of God, telling them that Jesus will be your savior no matter what!

This song is amazing. The first time I heard this song I completley lost it while I was at work. To me this song is sooo powerful because I grew up going to church and when I turned 18 I stopped going. And I had been thinking about going back for a while however I felt that I had gone too far like I was never going to be able to be forgivin. And this song make me feel really bad considering that God has such an unconditional love for me and no matter how much I mess up he will always love me. Idk this song is just amazing I love it. Great song guys.

No matter what happens in life, god will always forgive us. St. Paul used to persecute christians, but god forgave him and now he's a saint. St. Peter denied jesus' existence 3 times, and jesus made him the first pope and gave him the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Even if we've been evil, wicked people who hate god, god will always forgive us and accept us if we ask. This song reminds us how much god loves us. He will always guide you through life and protect you if you accept him. This is one of the best songs of all time and a modern day psalm. God bless you underoath!
