ZinG – Snooze lyrics
Feat. Sevin
Hook:
Turn from ya sins, don’t snooze on the Lamb,
Cuz God knowing ya heart is bad news for you fam (x4).
Verse 1:
He’s got a 9-5 and a salary, likeable personality,
Graduated with honors and his dissertation was a masterpiece.
He cares about the environment, wants to make the world a better place.
Has a good core group of friends, and met a girl just the other day.
Eventually they’ll end up together, he’ll propose, put a rock on her
Hand.
Start a fam, and get promoted, buy a home, it's all part da plan.
Nice folks with nice kids, helpin out in the neighborhood,
Everyone that’ll ever meet ‘em, all will say that they are good.
But here’s the problem, the Bible says that none is good, not even one,
All have sinned and fallen short, but God so loved that He sent His Son,
You can fool the world but your heart is wicked, a slave to sin and
You’re imprisoned.
Repent, believe and Christ will save and free you from your moralism.
Verse 2:
She was the type of girl that had every eye on her when she hit the party.
Dancing and flirting and drinking and certainly poppin’ them mollies.
Grew up no father around and she had no respect for her body,
And Now she’s expectin, and thirteen weeks pregnant and says “I’m
Abortin’ and no one can stop me! ”
She blames God, asking Him where her father has been.
And sayin that He should have stopped him back then, and suggestin that God
Is the author of sin.
But God is not bothered or gotta defend, or ponder a plausible answer to
Men.
He’s sovereign and offers His Son for your sin, and then following Him,
With a call to repent.
Your hard-pressed life won’t justify, the murder of an infant child,
But the Son of Man can sympathize, so run to Him and give your life.
If you don’t it's your worst nightmares, don’t trust what the world’s
Advice says,
Don’t snooze on the Lamb on the path that’s wide and where the
Wrath’s abiding like the vice prez.
Verse 3: Sevin
