I believe this song just goes to show that people say that younger people don't know what they want, but adults don't always know either. I've changed so many times for love that hasn't worked. You put so much in and get so little out, if anything at all. Kellin puts into words how people change, and even though you're the same person your soul changes with every encounter. He also says what other people won't; If you aren't going to be real with me don't be with me at all.
