1929 thru 1972. If you were sentient, living in the us and had a soul. Nuff said. We lived it. He and Buck, and a tip of the hat, (thanks Dwight), and many other members of the Nashville of Ca. Were clearly, indisputably and to this day; a not insignificant part of not only Music, but Global Music,(Hell, the Beatles copied Buck. Among all the us influences on Music). And they changed the world, by making people happy, and feeling good to be an okie or hillbilly or redneck, or just a born to be a cowboy, poor, soulful, and surrounded by brilliant musicians. Or, I could be wrong. This Link, is, or should be one of at least 1, 000 or so sites that post historic links to Smithsonian. Etc. I actually met most all of the top of that time. They were absolutely, what you saw, heard and felt in their songs. No clue how to, nor thought of anything but making good music. That meant, real songs. Real life. Nailed it.
