Everyone seems to think this song has some secret deep meaning. Honestly I think it's just about fireflies and he is trying to make it catchy and rhyming. Not some girl or his childhood.
@Kingsize716 Well honestly don't you think your taking this song to seriously? It's a just a song. Just cause someone doesn't like a song doesn't mean they have something horrible in their life. That's an absurd assumption.
