This is a triumphant, encouraging song to all Christians from the beginning of time that the Lord Jesus Christ will one day return and take us away to be with Him forevermore. There will be no pain or memories of our earthly trials, sufferings, and failures. This is the great hope that we who believe in Jesus, the Holy One, have--to rejoice. Death is the last enemy to be destroyed for those who trust and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Only Begotten Son.
