Times are always changing, and the era of innocence, and old fashioned heros, as portrayed in the western movies on the silver screen have all gone. Movies are becoming extremely violent, and vulgar with s**, nudity, and foul language, and you can't take your kids to see a show without knowing what the rating is for "General Audiences," "Parental Guidance," "Restricted" or "X-Rated" ("G, PG, and R, and X"). Modern movies often have complicated plots and sub-plots that try to analyze the human condition, with hidden meanings and complex lessons. The clean-cut cowboy hero with a simple message like John Wayne in True Grit, or Randolph Scott has faded into history to please the next generation audience, and the movie industry standards has disappeared right along with them.
