He is asking God to help bring him back to God. He has tried to be undivided ("tried to write") in his walk with God over and over again. He notes how God sings to him over and over again and yet he also asks God to show him again the plans that He has for him. He seems to have gotten apathetic or cold through letting a distance grow between him and God and now he realizes that God is his only hope.
