This is the kind of song that helps me face depressions. In the first stanza he admit his full dedication, passion, struggles, pain and all the sufferings he had went through. To some this particular stanza may mean a confession but to me it seems more like he realised and understood how life destined date because although he made a good living he only did by dying. Its of no use even if the thing he loves deeply and care for it, it's of no use in cold death hands and he ended up dying. Becoming more weak even he shivers in the sun which means there was nothing hope left for him. Yet he showed his eternal love. Even if he had to die or (she/it) be anyway.
