Didn't the man's wife or girlfriend or whatever kill her kid because "God told her to"? That's where I think the meaning is coming from. Sid means sudden infant death syndrome and I think he's talking about how she is always trying to please god and does whatever he says and now she's hurt and confused and he doesn't understand how she could ever listen to anybody say something like that. And he's angry with this "person" that takes advantage of her. (aka god).
