Honestly I'm not willing to automatically assume that lyrics are christian. I do know they have stated that christianity affects everything they do, but not everything they weite has to be christian. This song could be a love song, or a metaphor for something they have used as a crutch in the past. For some bands (not aild) that could be drugs. Just because tim said they're christian doesn't mean everything is about god.

First off, the only song I have ever seen by aild to have no other interpretation than a song praising god is This is who we are. Every other one has another interpretation. Just because he said that christianity affects the writing doesn't mean they only right about God. "I've seen my world change and then go back to where it came." is kind of a shot at people who promise change, because we always go back to where we were before. Vicious circle could be a metaphor for sleeping, but that's a stretch, I realize that. I'm also going to add that these are horrid lyrics, and I want to correct them but the link for correct lyrics isn't working. So if it does work for someone, please fix it, because they are just horrid. If you listen to the song just a couple times you'll realize that.

This song is about people who hear part of the story but not the whole, and refuse to listen to the whole truth. They are not a christian band, but some songs are with christian overtones. I don't think a christian band would write a song absolutely bashing the faith they are promoting, since christians are some of the worst about this. Fox news wins for the worst however. By the way, I am not a christian, but even when I was I bashed christian churches about it. I call out problems, even with myself.
