The artist states, "I think in a sense we all have our own Peter Pans... for me, music is my Peter Pan," she explained. "It's what I go to when I’m feeling lost or down, and I think people can relate to this. It could be an actual person, a hobby, sport - anything that makes you feel at home." It's not about suicide. It's not about dying. It's about finding out who you are and what makes you happy. Neverland is a place of fantasy and creativity for your mind. Peter Pan is whatever or whoever that needs to be for you to feel a sense of belonging, and escaping from reality. What life is, what reality is, it's whatever your creative mind chooses to believe in. Escaping the reality that there is no one who loves you, and that you have no friends or family, that is not a true reality unless you believe it is. Our world has too many wonderful things to cling to. So no one can say what reality has to be. If you're miserable and alone, I would sing to you this lovely song to you too, and tell you to escape from your horrible and unnecessary reality. Close your eyes and visualize your Peter Pan. When you find him, believe in him and believe in yourself. Let that belief give you the courage to take a leap of faith. Then, and only then, will you find that place which has no end.
