Little Game is a symbolic version of trying to be Transgender in a society that sees it as unacceptable. This is very obvious when the boy reaches for the doll in the OMV. Dolls are "for girls" and that has been true for too many years. The music video is just as profound as the lyrics as they both venture deeply into the transgender community with obvious and symbolic meanings, some that only a transgender individual would understand. "Little Game" refers to playing pretend and not being yourself because you don't want society to "disown you". The song is so simple but at the same time so complex and profound.
