This might have meant that in this Polluted Urban world, there is someone that still longs to go back, to how it was like before Urbanism. The world where we can still see the stars, where we were still full of life and conscious of everything around us, when we were more natural.

It might have meant that the polluted world is not what we wanted but we know that there is still that bit of time to save it. And we must also use this bit of time, to find answers to some of our unanswerable questions on how to stop Pollution.

This might have meant that Humans have been trying to stop our demon (pollution) but to no avail. And in the end, we end up watching the polar regions and nature crumble. However, when things really go bad, we decide to give up, thus only making things worse. But in the end, we still know, Pollution is not what we wish for no matter what.

This probably meant that what happened in the past, all efforts to change the polluted earth was all untold and little people put effort to save the earth and that Pollution kept on happening and thus they were 'beaten by a broken dream'. The last phrase might have meant that The world now, was not like the world in the past, which had less pollution and was more clean and natural.

It also shows that the person stayed cool but the crush was sensitive and was affected by what the crush said. The lyrics also stated that the fight was hard for the person to cope. Here, the person admitted that he/she cannot cope with the fight and really ants the crush to stay.
