It means that a girl is being abused but after every time she tells herself its not going to happen again. But of course it happens. The man thinks he has to prove to her that he is the domain in the house. Which is really stupid. I personally think it should be equal. And when the world ends the man is going to crumble in all the lies about his relationship, and the girl is going to break free of that cruddy relationship and find a way better life.
