Don't Let It Get You Down by Michael Jackson - This song is about a girl having a date or relationship with a guy, who has spread rumors. She has walked by and heard the rumors, which aren’t true. Her friends will know better and the others won’t believe her. So walk on and don’t bother with them. A guy friend is sympathizing with her, and even offering to be her new guy: he’ll bring her sunshine. Yesterday is gone – tomorrow is a new day. I like to apply these words to every set-back, not just relationships.
