Hey, when I read the lyrics, I saw the essence of it and I've concluded the story of this song: a love story between couple, a Christian and a non- Christian. The non-Christian doesn't trust her Bf (the Christian), however, the boy really loves his Gf so he's telling her that she should look into her heart and there she'll find God. Because you can only trust other people if u'll learn to trust God. That's why it was also said in the lyrics- "there's no need to complicate bcoz our time is short", meaning, the boy had enough of their selfishness and vanity so they must open up their hearts so they could be free. Am I Right? Can anyone agree? Because I can relate into this situation. It resembles a lot in mine. (I'm the Girl, lol).
