The songs about how people see him, its about his fears and of him never letting go of himself even though he thinks hes lost. He sees himself in the mirror as getting older, because hes in an empty room. Hes going off to military camp in 3 weeks, and he gets to go home from the empty room in 1 week. He misses his family and hes tired of people telling him what to do so he sees himself as getting older because it seems to him as if hes been there forever.
