It means a person who is confused about his/her life, a person who had never got enough love and care from his/her parents. He managed to stand up alone but didn't know that he's leading to a crooked path of his life. But it's not too late coz he's/she's in a good hand now, in God's hand, free from comfusing thoughts. But there's only one thing that he can't go back anymore where he/she was.
