The war is bullshit. Think about it. People are off fighting because two pompus assholes can't get along. What are they, four? Now, that said, the wars gonna end before your dad gets shipped off because of Obama's inauguration. Now, I love this song because I love controversial songs. That doesn't mean I agree with the views. And one last thing, they talk aboot someone who acts like nothin's wrong while the war rages, but that don't mean they think the war isn't a five-mile-high pile of bullshit.

This song is about a guy who loves a girl, but does something to hurt her (lie, cheat) but as sad as she is, he can't believe he hurt her andjust wants her back, even though she isn't exactly perfect: "the path I walk is in the wrong direction" but until she forgives him he'll never forgive himself, no matter what, and he tries so tries to get over her, but he can't, and she's in his head so much he can barely think of anything else.
