Not just their fans, but critics, recorders, producers, etc. I think they're saying their supporters try to help them, but they just feel pressured to do more than they're capable of actually doing. "Send ya roses when they think you need to smile."
And towards the end it's directed at "you," perhaps meaning that no one is ever satisfied and everyone just wants 'more, more, more! '
This song reminds me largely of 'teenagers' in which he mentions violence. But this song mentions gurneys, like maybe they don't mind the giving of the blood, as opposed to having it beat out of em. The gurneys part also makes me think of blood donors? Like maybe he's willing to keep giving the blood? Not having it beaten out of him. Maybe. The part "fix me proper with a bit of luck" and "such an awful f*k" leads me to assume he's broken in a way. After which comes the "why thank you" perhaps meaning he doesn't want to be fixed? He also says "kind of human wreckage that ya love" with a sort of enthusiasm. The way it's put, I think he's ok with his broken self if we're ok with it. I doubt he'd care what we think anyway! Don't get me wrong, he's a totally awesome guy that's not afraid to do his own thing! And we totally love him for it!
I also want to point out that I'm a huge fan of mcr! Good music and I love what they do.
