My husband of almost twenty years had serious mental problems and ended up on hard drugs to self medicate. In the midst I could no longer allow the destruction of my sanity or my child's safety. In the end I was kidnapped and assaulted and before all was said and done he committed suicide. This song is my story, my regret at the inability to save the love of my life and the guilt of him being gone without saying goodbye. Bad or good, true love is eternal. But then again so is the pain and the loss.
